Summer is my favorite time of year, because of the warm temperatures and the beautiful colors. These DIY summer wreaths have so much color and design that they are just perfect for bringing some extra summer décor to your home. These are all gorgeous enough to hang indoors, although you will want them on your front door to add to your curb appeal and to impress your neighbors. 1. DIY Aloha Summer Wreath
You may not actually make it to Hawaii this summer but you can decorate your front door as if you did. This DIY aloha summer wreath is so easy to make and it’s really cheap, too. You just need a wreath form and a cheap pair of flip flops – these are about a dollar each at the Dollar Store – and some summery fabric to cover the form. Then, you just add seashells or anything else that makes you think of the islands.
2. DIY Burlap Baseball Wreath
Summer is baseball time in my house – if it’s the same at your house, you are going to love this DIY burlap baseball wreath that you can make with cheap supplies from the Dollar Store. Baseballs are about a dollar each, you just need the cheap ones, and you can get all sorts of colorful ribbon and other crafty embellishments at the Dollar Store as well to dress this one up a bit. It will only take you a few minutes to put it together and it gives you a great beach house look for your front porch. This DIY patriotic wreath is perfect for summer and it’s super easy and cheap to make. You just grab some red and white checkered kitchen towels from the Dollar Store, as well as some thick white ribbon and a metal wreath frame. You can also add some blue and white star ribbon or something else that has a patriotic theme. This is perfect for the upcoming summer holidays!
8. DIY Summer Lemon Wreath
A few supplies from the Dollar Store and you are well on your way to making this adorable summer lemon wreath. You just need a few things, like maybe some faux sunflowers and of course, plastic lemons to make this one. You also need a wreath form and some burlap and a bit of thin, brightly colored yellow ribbon. This one simply screams summer with its bright yellow coloring.
9. DIY Flowery Summer Garden Hose Wreath
An old hose – or even a piece of one – and a few faux flowers from the Dollar Store are all you need to create this perfect little DIY summer wreath. You will also need a block of florist foam, which you can get at the Dollar Store or Dollar Tree. If you have a piece of hose that you can use – maybe one that has holes and isn’t usable any longer – then you can make this entire wreath for about $3.
10. DIY Duct Tape Flower Wreath
Did you know that you can make gorgeous flowers from duct tape? This is a gorgeous wreath when it is finished and it is honestly so easy to DIY. You can create the frame by wrapping fabric around an old picture frame, which you can also get at the Dollar Store. Then just choose your preferred color and create beautiful little flowers from duct tape.
11. Hula Inspired DIY Summer Wreath
This DIY summer wreath is inspired by the hula skirt and the entire thing will cost you less than $6 if you shop at the Dollar Tree or Dollar Store. You need a foam wreath, light up necklaces, silk flowers, a small hula skirt and a cheap wooden sign – or you could paint your own sign and make this even cheaper. Aside from those supplies, you just need a hot glue gun to make this one.
12. Cute DIY Dum Dum Wrapper Wreath
How adorable is this DIY summer wreath that you make from Dum Dum wrappers? Dum Dums are my kids’ favorite suckers, so this one would be perfect for my house. not only do you get a gorgeous summer wreath from this one, your kids get to eat all of the Dum Dums that you need to use for the wrappers! Aside from a bunch of sucker wrappers, you just need a Styrofoam wreath form to make this one.
13. DIY Styrofoam Ball Wreath
This DIY summer wreath is perfect if you want something really different and it gives you the perfect opportunity to upcycle old fabric scraps that you have left over from other projects. You just need a collection of Styrofoam balls in different colors and your scrap fabric for this one. You also need a glue gun and if you don’t have one, you can get a nice mini glue gun at Walmart for around $3.

Visit your local Dollar Store or Dollar Tree and you will find loads of gorgeously colored tulips for about a dollar per bunch. You get several in a bunch, so you probably only need three or four bunches to create this DIY tulip wreath. You also need a wreath form and some fabric or ribbon to cover the form. This one is super easy and you can make it for less than $5.
15. DIY Summer Flip Flop Wreath
What could possibly be more summery than flip flops? This DIY summer flip flop wreath! It’s made from a few different pairs of flip flops, all of which you can get at any Dollar Store for a dollar per paid, so this entire wreath is less than $10 to make. You just need a foam board to attach the flip flops to and you need to decide on the color design that you will use.
16. DIY Ruffled Burlap Wreath
I love DIY burlap projects and this ruffled wreath may just be one of my favorites. This burlap wreath is much easier to make than you may think and it looks so professionally done when you get it finished. Top it off with a cheap sunflower and ribbon from the Dollar Store and you have a gorgeous DIY summer wreath that will cost you less than $10 to make!
17. Cute DIY Lighted Cup Wreath
A pack of red Solo cups at the Dollar Store is just a couple of dollars. When you combine those cups with a wreath form and some clear lights, you get the perfect DIY wreath for summer. This one is great for hanging on the front door to help illuminate your porch during the warmer months and the red Solo cups just scream barbecue time!
18. Nautical Sisal Rope Wreath
If you want to bring the beach to your front door, this DIY nautical sisal rope wreath is the perfect way to do it.
